(A Brotherhood Aimed Towards Education) LEGISLATIVE ISSUES CONCERNING BIKERS AND OFF-ROADS A.B.A.T.E.'s main concern is putting motorcycling and off-roads legislation in its proper perspective through motorcycle and off-roads safety education programs and public awareness programs to prevent injury or fatal accidents to motorcyclists. A.B.A.T.E. works closely with motorcycle rights orgs across the nation to stop discriminatory legislation aimed at all motorcyclists throughout the country. A.B.A.T.E. is a political power that has come together to oppose anti-motorcycling/off-roads legislation and to promote the safety of motorcyclists and riders. A.B.A.T.E. is in the forefront of the development of Off Highway Vehicle Parks funding, emphasizing a coalition of concerned multiple use beneficiaries, promoting safety & viable ecological concerns. A.B.A.T.E. has been a major factor in the development of an OHV Grant Program through state agencies which enable groups, local governments, and private individuals to purchase land for recreational use.
